Frank J. Camerota, 91, of Mesa, AZ went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 24, 2013 in Mesa, AZ. Frank was born July 14, 1922 in Burlington, New Jersey to Mary Veronica and Louis Armor Camerota. Frank had 2 sisters Alice (deceased) and Marianne of Burlington, New Jersey.
Frank joined the US Navy in 1942 and served 2 years on the USS Terry during World War II. After his service to our country Frank went to Rutgers University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. After college graduation Frank went to work for Griffin Pipe where he retired 1980. Frank was an awesome husband and father. He enjoyed his family tremendously, traveling, making things, singing, and playing his electric keyboard, harmonica, and ukulele. Frank is survived by his wife, Nancy and step-family: Dennis Stiff (Darlene), Sheila Jeanes (Bill), Robert Stiff, Michael Stiff (Laurie), Tim Stiff (Cindy), Maureen Kerr (Michael), and Terry Stiff and Nancy's numerous grandchildren.
Frank was also blessed with two other loving families:
He is survived by daughter Eileen Talfin (John), daughter Pat Nold (Bob), and son Tom Camerota (Teresa) and grandchildren with his first wife.
Frank is also survived by Jennifer Wamboldt (Alan), Stephanie Gregory (Rick), Sally Hatlovic, Cindy Wolfenden, and Tim Johns from his second marriage with Frieda, and her daughter Jean Galovich, and their grandchildren.
Celebration of Frank's life is:
Monday, November 4, 2013 with Mass at All Saints Catholic Church, 1534 N. Recker Road, Mesa, AZ 85205 at 10:00 AM, following with a graveside prayer at Mountain View Cemetery, 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85207.
