Look, George A.
77, passed away in his home November 9, 2012 with his family at his side. George was born Jan 1, 1935 in Detroit, MI. After graduation from high school he entered the US Army and served in the Military Police, upon his discharge he joined the Detroit P.D. as a Police Officer. In 1962, while visiting his parents in Florida, he met the love of his life, Marion. After their marriage in 1963, they relocated to Phoenix. George began his sales career with Zellerbach Paper Co. lasting 27 yrs., followed by a second career with Victory Packaging for 15 yrs until his retirement in 2006. George is survived by his loving children Lynda (Larry) Leininger, Doug (Lois) and Scott (Wendy). Grandchildren Todd Guess, Nikki, Dani, Taylor and Austin, also great-grandchildren McKenna and Brandon Guess. George is also survived by his sister Darlene (Bob) Folken of Estes Park, CO and his special friend Judy Brown of Peoria, AZ. George was preceded in death by Marion his wife of 45 yrs. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Tues. November 20, 2012 at Peace Lutheran Church, 18265 N. 89th Ave., Peoria, AZ followed by a reception. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt Thank You to Dr. Iyengar and Marci of AZ CCC and to Hospice of Arizona, the Amethyst Team (Lori, Erin, Chaplin Jeff) for their compassion and support.
