Harriet Hogan

Hogan, Harriet Wallis
age 83 of Mesa AZ passed away on Monday March 31, 2014. Harriet was born in Chicago, IL and moved to her second home in AZ in 1986. Harriet was a devoted homemaker and loving mother to her three children. Harriet was also a loving second mother to her in-laws and friends of her children. Once her children were grown she became active in real estate. She carried that profession out to AZ with her. Harriet was an avid gardener and bridge player in her spare time. She cared deeply for her animals - and those of others. So much so her home was nicknamed the Doggie Days Inn! She was preceded in death by her parents Robert & Ruby Wallis, her brother Bob Wallis, and her oldest son, William Wallis Hogan. Harriet is survived by her daughter Martha (Lawrence) Hogan-Koehn, her son Robert (Dawn) Lynch Hogan, granddaughter Kelsey Elizabeth Hogan, grandsons Joel & James Krueger, as well as a legacy of lifelong friends. Harriet was Grandma Harriet to Mark (Jessica), Ashley, and Brad (Jessie) Gruner, & Great Grandma Harriet to Addison Gruner. She will be remembered for being a true friend and lady. A Celebration of life in Harriet's honor is planned for June 7th.
