Bunting, James Joseph
66, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on February 12, 2013. Jim was born on August 27, 1946 in Somers Point, New Jersey to Edward and Margaret Bunting. Jim and Annette moved to Prescott in 1975 with two children and built houses in a family business. In 1982, the family moved to Mesa where Jim worked as a construction superintendent improving schools, public facilities, and more.
Jim was a member of the East Valley Wildlife Rehabilitation League and cared for injured or sick waterfowl from all over the valley. Later, Jim fostered pound puppies from the Maricopa County Animal Control. Jim is survived by his ex-wife Annette of Mesa, Arizona, son Jim of Mesa, Arizona and daughter Jennifer of Kent, Washington. Jim also leaves behind two younger sisters, Linda and Margie and their families. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations made in Jim's name to the "Friends of Animal Care and Control", 16 W. Camelback Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85013.
