Hart, Louis John "Jack"
86, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on May 14, 2013. Jack was raised in Huron, Ohio. He graduated from high school in 1944 and joined the army airborne in order to serve his country during WWII. After leaving the army he married Dorothy Niggle. They were married for 56 years. He graduated from Bowling Green University and received his masters from Kent State. They had three children as he started his life long career as an educator in Cleveland, Ohio. He moved the family to Arizona in 1962. He taught at Phoenix Union and Central High Schools, finishing his career as the Physic teacher at Central High. Throughout his life he was always active in the church, including Valley Presbyterian and the Congregational Church of the Valley. He loved sports & the outdoors, especially football and hiking with the Scottsdale YMCA "Ys Trekkers". He is survived by his son, Allan (Debbie), of Phoenix; his daughter, Cindy Walker (Kelly), of Scottsdale; his sister, Florence Poyer, of Griffin, GA; his brother Rol, of Sandusky, Ohio; 5 grandchildren (Tim, Eric, Stephanie, Becky, & Andy) ; and 2 great grandchildren (Jett & Kylie). He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy and his son, Lt. James Hart. A memorial service will be held at the Congregational Church of the Valley on Monday, May 27th at 10:00 AM. at 12001 E. Shea Blvd.; Scottsdale, AZ 85259. Donations can be sent to the Congregational Church of the Valley.
