Phillips, Lyle O. "Curly"
82, of Glendale, AZ, passed away on November 16, 2012, after a brief illness. He served as a Marine in the Korean War. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Emily, daughters Melissa (Harvey) Poloni, Cindy (Lyn) Gillean, grandchildren Russell (Lauren) and great grandbaby to-be Poloni, Christopher Poloni, and McKenzie Gillean. They all called him 'Papa'. He is also survived by his brother, David (Barbara) Phillips of Meadville, PA., and many extended family and friends. His hobbies and his grandchildren kept him very busy. Services will be private. Donations may be made in memory of Lyle to Seasons Hospice, 2020 N. Central Ave, Suite 170, Phoenix, AZ, 85004 and Arizona Humane Society, 9226 N. 13th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85021. Arrangements entrusted to Green Acres Glendale Mortuary.
