Memories and Condolences
for Mario Attilio

Not sure what to say?

Mario was more than a brother in law
he was more than a father figure. He was my touch stone. Whenever my life presented a challenge that I couldn't answer, he somehow showed me I already knew the answer. The caring and loving
way was something I always counted on.
A person could live five lifetimes and never find that. I was blessed to have him in mine.

Dearest Diane and Family,
Words can't express the sorrow I feel hearing the news of Mario's sudden passing. I remember a good man who was funny, loving, and well respected. Please take comfort in knowing that he touched the lives of so many in the most positive ways, and his spirit will live on in everyone who knew him. I am so very sorry. With love and hugs to all.

Dear Diane and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Mario's passing. Even though we have not had any contact for some time, I look upon our friendship fondly. I always appreciated the friendship Drew and Mario, Jr. had in high school. You two helped foster that by welcoming Drew into your home.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Diane and Family,
I was utterly saddened to hear of Marios passing. Life is short, but I know He spent his well. He left a lot of people with knowledge and wisdom that we did not have before his presence in our lives. "even though I may not have liked what he had to say at the time...I always knew he was right" He and your family have left your marks on many peoples hearts, I wanted you to know that! I know this time is so very hard, and I wish I could tell you it gets better, but in truth, it only gets easier to cope with..do not hate the pain in your heart, embrace it, for the pain you feel is equal to the love that you feel for Mario....I love you guys and you are always in my prayers.....Loving Memories, Jobina and Family

Dear Diane and family, I am so sorry for your loss, Mario was one of the good guys and you were one of the most memorible couples. Please take comfort from your children and friends. I like this saying from my grandmother and think it is comforting.
There's a beautiful land
At the Fathers right hand
Where there is no suffering or pain
And the streets, I am told
Are made with pure gold
And the sun will never go down.
God Bless.

TAKEN TOO SOON
Dear Diane & Family,

For some unknown reason Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, has seen fit to take Mario. It was too soon for us, but not for Mario's Creator. God has His plan in place, with reasons beyond our understanding.

May our Lord Jesus Christ, comfort you, your family, and Angelina, Mario's mother, who lost her only son, as well as Mario's late father, Peter Attilio, some years ago. I'm sure Mario is now reunited with his dad whom he loved.

My dear cousin Mario was a wonderful person. I remember him as a small child growing up in Detroit, MI. He was a sweet young boy who grew up even sweeter. He was a joy to his mom and dad, the light of their life. And, Diane, I know, he was your world.

I pray you will trust in God, for only He can understand your pain and bring you comfort and peace in your time of sorrow.

God Bless You and Yours,
Love, Iris Attilio-Taylor

Dear Diane, so very sorry to hear about Mario's passing. I can remember in high school Mario and you in my homeroom class and all of us being friendly. I have fond memories of that time in school. My husband, Ian Holmes, passed suddenly three years ago. Although it was quite a shock, time and faith has seen me through many emotional times. I hope it will be that way for you too. I also hope many good memories of life together and with your family will keep you going for years to come. Sincerely, Audrey (Blaze) Holmes

What a tremendous loss for everyone. Mario Sr. left a wonderful legacy with his beautiful, close-knit family. He was a talented, hard working craftsman who had a lot of JOY, whether it be doing hair, Hungry Howie's, building cabinets, or his music. He will not be forgotten. We are praying that the MANY wonderful memories will provide some peace in this sad time. We just love the Attilio family and are thankful we got to be a part of many family gatherings. xoxo
