Robison, Mary E.
90, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2013 in Scottsdale, AZ. Mary was born January 4, 1923 in Union County, SD. She served as a Navy WAVE in WWII, where she met her beloved late husband Ray of 47 years. They lived in Tempe, AZ since 1964. She worked at ASU and the Kyrene School District as a secretary. She was extremely active in many organizations throughout her lifetime and most proud of her involvement with the Catholic Daughters of America. The family wished to thank Cousin Billy Guy Robison, from Indiana, for calling our mother every Sunday since our father passed away 20 years ago. They had four daughters; Jeanne Robison (deceased), Janet Dixon (Stuart-deceased), JoAn Tonniges (David) and Julie Holt (Michael); seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 7:00pm to 8:30pm with a Rosary at 7:30pm on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Carr-Tenney Mortuary, 2621 S. Rural Rd., Tempe, AZ 85282. A Funeral Mass will be held in her honor 11:00am, Saturday, May 25, 2013 at All Saints Newman Center on ASU's Campus, 230 E. University Dr., Tempe, AZ 85281. Interment will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85024 where she and her husband will be laid to rest, both receiving full Military Honors for their combined service with the US Navy.
