Harris, Michael Lee
64, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2013, at Thunderbird Banner Hospital. Mike was born on January 21, 1948 in South Dakota. In 1958 Mike moved to the valley with his family. Mike was a construction project manager valleywide for over 20 years. He oversaw numerous commercial projects including new construction and tenant improvements. In 1966, Mike was in the first graduating class at Alhambra High School, where he participated in the football and track program. Mike received a football scholarship to the University of Arizona, unfortunately a knee injury ended his football career. He later went on to receive a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Finance from Arizona State University. Mike is survived by his lovely wife Edna, son Sean, daughter Lane, son-in-law Lewis, daughter-in-law Daniell and grandson Ronin. The things Mike loved the most were, great conversations with friends, spending time playing card games with family, enjoying a Diamond Backs game, his daily gathering at McDonalds and of course riding around with the light of his life, his grandson Ronin.
