Mildred Jean Seitz

Seitz, Mildred Jean
91, of Louisville, formerly of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Louisville. She was the beloved daughter of Charles T. and Mabel Petty Dougan. Born in Spurgeon, Indiana, she graduated from Deconess Hospital School of Nursing, Evansville, Indiana, in 1942. She later worked for St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona for 25 years in coronary care and was a night supervisor. She was a member of the Laurel Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard C. Seitz; sisters, Opal Simmons, Gladys Skinner, and Betty Dougan; brothers, Harold and Jack Dougan. Survivors include her children, David Seitz (Linda), Thomas Seitz and Jacklyn Harris (Ronald); granddaughters, Kimberly Harris, Paula Serrano, Michelle Orr and Courtney Seitz as well as a great grandson, Connor Rodriguez. Her funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Green Acres Mortuary Chapel, Scottsdale, AZ with burial to follow in the Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 noon until 2 P.M. Thursday at Green Acres Mortuary. Donations may be made to Hosparus or the donor's favorite charity in her memory.
