Nancy Howlett Mahlstede

Mahlstede, Nancy Howlett
59, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on September 25, 2012. Nancy was born in Eureka, California on May 10, 1953. She graduated from Brea-Olinda High School and Arizona State University. Nancy's energy, ambition and creativity led her through many career paths, including work in the insurance industry, fundraising sales, The American Red Cross, and, most recently, developing a successful home-staging business, Stage Tucson. Besides her family and friends, Nancy's passion was to volunteer in her community. She was active with the American Red Cross, El Rio Community Health Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Phoenix Boys Choir, and Arizona School for the Arts. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bee and Robert Howlett. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Robert, her sons Ryan (Jaclyn) and Cameron Mahlstede, her sisters Lori (John) Lowe and Rebecca Howlett, her brothers Robert Howlett and Anthony Karachale, her grandchildren Noelle and Samuel Mahlstede and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Nancy's life will be held Saturday, September 29th at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Tucson at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Habitat for Humanity Tucson or El Rio Community Health Foundation.
