Mollan, Robert W., PhD
died on February 6, 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 81. Robert was born on February 3, 1933 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Ernest Mollan and Vivian Hanson. Robert was raised in Minneapolis and attended the University of Minnesota
where he received a PhD in Political Science. Robert had a successful career teaching political science in the 60s and 70s including many years on the faculty at Utah State University. Robert was married to Beverly Carroll and they had one child, Margo Anderson. After returning from teaching Bob moved to Phoenix where he devoted much time and energy to helping others in Alcoholic Anonymous. For many years "Ranger Bob," as he was known, attended daily Lunch Bunch meetings at The Crossroads AA facility in Phoenix. He is survived by his daughter Margo Anderson of Sandy, Utah and his five grandchildren, Abigail, Emma, Wyatt, Samuel and Maggie. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at The Crossroads of Phoenix (1845 E. Ocotillo Rd.) on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
