Rudolph J. Verbeeck

Verbeeck, Rudolph J.
92, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on Sept. 24. He was born Jan 25, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY to Petrus and Catherine (DeMeyer) Verbeeck. Rudy proudly served in the US Army, CBI Theatre, during WW II receiving the Bronze Star for his reconnaissance assignments along the front. His work career included cutting diamonds for the family business in Manhattan, a young usher at the Sheepshead Theatre, and a grocery merchandiser for two major chains. Rudy is survived by his daughters: Carol (Bruce) Verbeeck Horttor, Joan (Rick) Smith, grandchildren: Kristen (Don) Krull, William (Audrey) Brough, great grandchildren: CJ Krull, Rawley M. Smith. He is predeceased by his wife Florence and grandson Richard M. Smith III. Private graveside services will be at the National Memorial Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to , Phoenix, AZ.
