Mintz, Stanley George
Stanley George Mintz passed away peacefully in his home November 24, 2015 after a heroic battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 81. Stan is survived by his daughters, Barbara Kish and Sandra Mintz, his four grandchildren, Jason Kish, Eric Kish, Gavin Mintz and Alessandra Mintz, as well as a brother, Walter Mintz. Stan was preceded in death last year by his loving wife, Natalie, after 57 years of marriage. Stan was born in Madison, Wisconsin, son to Jacob and Belle Mintz, the youngest of four brothers. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and worked in the family business. In Madison, Stan established his own life insurance agency as a general agent and pension expert for General American Life, earning Million Dollar Round Table, Hall of Fame, and life achievement awards. He continued to operate his pension business in Scottsdale, Arizona, and never really retired. Outside of work, Stan participated in many community organizations and was an avid golfer. He enjoyed many golf outings with friends from Nakoma (Madison) and Troon (Scottsdale) Country Clubs. Contributions in his memory may be made to charities of your choice. Services will be held at Messinger Pinnacle Peak on Sunday, November 29 at 9:30 AM, followed by the burial at Green Acres Cemetery and a reception at Troon Country Club.
