Susan L. Buetti

Buetti, Susan L.
It is with the heaviest of hearts and sorrow that after a 12 year courageous battle with breast cancer, I announce the passing of my beloved wife Susan Buetti on November 21, 2012, two days after her sixty-first birthday. She was the bravest, toughest person I have ever met in my life. I know of no other person who could have endured the hundreds of chemo treatments, the many surgeries and other necessary procedures attendant to her illness and still keep a positive outlook. She was the love of my life and I miss her dearly. Susan wished only to be cremated with no wake. The party attended by over a hundred of her friends in October, 2011 took the place of her wake. That's the way she wanted it. She once mentioned that when someone dies, people come to a wake and talk about the deceased. She wanted to know what people had to say about her. That was pure Susan, to the point. She enjoyed her party immensely and kept those memories with her to the end. I want to thank all of you for your good thoughts and caring over the years. Bernard Buetti. Arrangements by Hansen Mortuary.
