Estrada, Tomas Soria
87, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on Nov. 2, 2012. He is now with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born in Tucson, AZ, on March 24, 1925. He was raised in Gilbert, AZ. He leaves behind Francisco (Estela), Ignacio, Estevan, Syliva, Armando, Jorge Aguirre (Lydia), Lazaro Mata, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also, his sister Maria Navarro and brother Benito Carrizosa. He has hundreds of nieces and nephews. Tomas lied about his age and joined the Army at 17. He fought in Europe, The Battle of the Bulge, Normandy Invasion (D-Day). After the war in Europe ended he was sent to the Pacific and also fought there. A viewing will be held on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Abel Funeral Services from 6-8pm at 1627 N. 51st Ave. in Phoenix, AZ. Cremation is to follow. The Funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, 10:00am sharp at National Memorial Cemetery located at 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ. We love you Tío Tomas. RIP!
