Spencer, Viola C.
age 90 of Sun City, AZ went to meet with her ancestors on November 22, 2013. Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey to her parents Joseph and Lydia Csan on September 21, 1923 and graduated from high school in 1940 from an all girl's school that prepared the students for occupations of clerical work. She worked for many businesses throughout her career as a secretary or book keeper and prior to retirement as a field representative for a wholesale food broker, covering the Phoenix, Tucson and Nogales areas. She married Lee Dexter Spencer on November 01, 1949. Their journey in life took them from Ohio, to New Mexico and then to Arizona. During their time together they raised 3 children, Kathryn, George and Forrest, and had the blessing of being in the lives of five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lee, daughter Kathryn and son Forrest. The greatest passion of her life was her genealogy studies of the Spencer and Csan families, researching the lives and history of both families. There were many friendships she developed with her studies at the various genealogy libraries. Services to celebrate her life will be held at Christ's Church of the Valley, Surprise Campus at 14787 W. Cholla St. at 11:00 am. A short reception will follow the service. because they provided her with what she wanted in her final days, which was to be comfortable, clean and safe. But they also provided her with respect. That is a quality that comes from the heart of the giver, and the angels that watched over her while she was in their care and helped her to be prepared for the angels she is with now.
