Willard W. Gregg

Gregg, Willard W.
of Mesa, AZ passed away on February 17, 2013 in Gilbert at after a sixteen year battle with prostate cancer. He was born on June 15, 1941 in the Philippines and immigrated to the United States at the age of six. Willard grew up in Kansas City, MO and was a proud graduate of the University of Kansas. He had a long career as an engineer in the aerospace and automotive industries, retiring from General Motors Corporation in 2004. Anxious to escape to warmer climates in retirement, Willard loved living in Mesa where he was a regular at the Mesa Senior Center and was honored to serve as an usher for the All Savior's Lutheran Church. He is predeceased by parents, Willard and Connie. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly forty-nine years, Jean; children Brad (Joanne) Gregg and Lisa (Bjorn) Hansen; granddaughter Ava Gregg; brother Dave (Pat) Gregg; sister Carol Goergen; sister-in-law Peggy Clark; nieces Angie (Hewie) McAvinney, Chris Clark, Alex Clark, and Mindy Goergen; nephew Nick (Jaimee) Goergen; and great niece Brianna Clark. Condolences may be shared with family at the All Savior's Lutheran Church (612 S. Ellsworth Rd., Mesa) for a service on Saturday, February 23 at 11 AM where a reception will immediately follow.
