Yolanda Viola Loughran nee Formando, born April 13, 1928, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2013 at Summitt Care Tempe from COPD. She was born in Berwick, PA. She was a proud graduate of Penn State University and received her master degrees from Western CT State College and Fairfield University. She taught Spanish and Drama at Bethel High School, in Bethel, CT for 20 years. She and her husband, John, retired and moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 1991. She continued to teach Spanish part-time in AZ until she retired from active teaching in 2008. Yolanda is survived by her son, Kevin Loughran and wife Kersti in Pinellas Park, FL. She has four grand children and seven great grandchildren, daughter, Stacie Van Deusen of Norwalk, CT, close friend husband, Daisy and her husband Ben Hyde of Phoenix, AZ, a brother Frank Formando, Jr and his wife Gloria of Redding , PA. She was predeceased by her husband John R. Loughran. A memorial service will be held at a later date in St Petersburgh, FL.
