Eugene Dorrell Obituary
Drew age 48 recently passed away. Born in Cape May Court House, N. J. October 16, 1962 to Eugene and Jean Dorrell. He is reunited in death with his children Tricia and Matthew and both his parents. Drew is survived by his children Andrew, Kevin and Katy, grandkids Nick, Lily, Sean, Hailey, Caleb and Kiara, as well as siblings Gene, Jeanine and Jay. Drew was a long time City of Phoenix employee. He loved music, reading, movies and woodworking. Papa Drew was a regular at his grandkids ballgames. He loved his family and he will be missed. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Wednesday, August 17th and Funeral Service will be at 10am, Thursday, August 18th at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix followed by Interment at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery and a reception.

Not much with this facebook thing yet but here goes....hope my flower arrangement got there in time....didn't get to see you much little brother and I'm sorry we did not keep in touch much but thought about you alot...and I'll always regret that I wasn't able to see more of you and your wonderful family,,,,REST IN PEACE LITTLE BROTHER....YOU WILL ALWAYS REMAIN IN MY HEART.........Regards TO Drew and all the family.......Last time I was in Phoenix I held baby Trish in my arms and took her to see the ducks...I'll never forget that...I was a proud uncle hope to one day get back that way and pay my respects.... Drew,Now you are with Jesus and he hugs you daily. He loved you so much that he took you home. You will be missed. Now you are reunited with your 2 children. I knew you as a gentle man and very caring.May you rest in peace my friend.

Drew, you were always there for me, you taught me that love was caring, giving and non judgemental, not hurtful or abusive. You listened to every word I had to say and never put me down. You were and are a great man. You touched my heart and my life and it will never be the same. I love you, miss you.
You were blessed with wonderful loving Kids and Grandkids. I thank them for everything they did and Anne too.
I will alway carry a part of you with me Drew.

Drew, you were always such a kind person and working with you was a pleasure. The City has lost another valuable employee but you are now resting in the arms our Lord and Saviour.You will always live in our hearts and prayers. RIP

I met Drew in 1997, we worked together and he always had a kind word for me and a smile. He would talk about his children and grandchildren always with tender love. Rest in Peace Drew in the arms of Our Lord.

I worked with Drew for 19 years and knew him to be a wonderful, smart, caring man. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his children. I'm sure you know that your Dad was a good man and he loved you all.

Drew It is so hard to look at this picture of you and know you are really gone.I knew you and worked with you for 22 years and knew you as a wonderful and caring person. You will be missed. My sympathy to your Children and Family. i know how much you love your Grand Kids and they are going to miss their PaPa.
