John Houghton Obituary
83, of Mesa, AZ passed away on October 14, 2014. Born in Detroit, MI, John has called AZ his home since 1942. Graduate of PUHS "49, US Army Veteran, Retired Manufacturers Rep & Charter Pilot. Loved flying & airports. Built & flew miniature model planes. Past member of Western States Sheriffs Air Squadron & Maricopa County Air posse. Fond appreciation of Native American art & jewelry and African parrots. Survived by a sister, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his parrot Murphy. There will no formal memorial or services. His ashes will be spread in northern Idaho. Family wishes to thank all of his caregivers and the humane services of Hospice care. As a proud member of the Quiet Birdmen society...his "silver wings have taken him west" We will miss you
