Berglund, Brian
66, of Fountain Hills, left us on October 2, 2013 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Born to Joe and Tibby Berglund in Alexandria, MN, he moved to Phoenix in 1967 to follow his parents and two siblings. Following his graduation from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Business Administration, Brian began his career in the insurance industry that would span 40 years, much of which was spent as the owner of a family-owned agency. He enjoyed fishing the coves of Roosevelt Lake, the occasional golf outing and hosting cocktails and hors d'oeuvres with his loving wife Rosemary to catch up with family and friends. Brian is preceded in death by Joe, Tibby, brother Michael and other loved ones. He is survived by Rosemary and their five sons, Stephen, Michael, Marc, Jonas (Lindsey), and Trey; sister Shelly Moore, her husband Lee Sr. and their children Lee Jr. and Brianna Gallelli (Neil); sister-in-law Angela, her daughter Laura and grandson Joshua; and, brother-in-law Tom O'Connell,
his wife Linda, their daughter Pattylynn Dial (Bill) and granddaughters Jordan and Christine. Brian will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his gentle heart, reliability and jovial spirit. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Rescue Pals animal shelter of Fountain Hills, AZ (480.837.0069).
