its crazy to think that years have past since u left, i miss you so much everyday, high school football is not the same, being a cheerleader watching football players play.. I only could think of you, nov is coming up the hardest time of the year.. love u always.

I know your always going to be smiling down on us, but it scares me even more to know your not here. And every day i am thinking about you, Im always going to write in this little thing for as long as i live, but i cant help but not believe that your still gone, because sometimes when i go to the school i always go straight to the football there and sit and cry. your the best. And its been awhile since you went away and i am still dealing with the pain, because yanno i got to move on, but thats the hardest part, is moving on ! haha' i wear your sweater in pride and say ' yeah i knew charles'he had my favorite# & he was my bestfriend! My sympathy and condolences to Wallace Youvella Jr. and family. I'm very honored to have covered Charles' football and basketball games as a sportswriter for the Gallup Independent. Hopi head football coach Steve Saban said Charles played with heart and 10 times his size is right. My prayers are with the Youvella family, villages in Hopi country, the school and the players and coaching staff at Hopi. Additionally, my prayers are with the players, coaching staff and staff at Arizona Lutheran Academy.

I am deeply saddened by this young man's early death. I played football on The Massillon Tiger's (Massillon, Ohio) and also at Princeton University, class of 1985. I am fifty years old and I am don't know what to say. I heard about his passing on Fox News and just wish there was something I could do. You have my deepest sympathy!

I got a chance to watch this young man play. i couldn't believe how small he was but he was so quick and fast that it was hard for the opposing team to tackle him. i will always remember that night you played against Ganado. I was on the sidelines on the visitors side. I am blessed to have watched you play. Rest in Peace brother and thanks for the Memories.
