61, was surrounded by family when he passed on Thursday, June 23, 2016. A Phoenix Native, Ed attend North High and Phoenix College, worked as an Insurance Agent and ultimately began a career in the aerospace industry working at Allied Signal, Honeywell and Orbital Science. Ed, known as Gonzo to many was a family man who spent many years coaching his kids in Madison Little League and later in life taught them automotive maintenance and how to play blackjack. In his free time Ed could be found bowling, playing with his grandchildren, wiping out blight in Phoenix or keeping his neighborhood safe. Ed joins his father Adolph Gonzalez Jr. and extended family in heaven. Ed will be remembered as the life of the party, hard working, family orientated, having a contagious laugh and a sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day. Ed is survived by his mother Joyce Gonzalez; wife of 40 years Virginia Gonzalez; Children; Adolph "Eddie" Gonzalez IV, Ryan "Mitchell" Gonzalez, Kellie and Brian O'Connor; Grandchildren; Gavin, Logan and Olivia O'Connor and many extended family members. Until we meet again, here's to you and the fun loving life you lived. We love you!
