91, of Tempe, AZ passed away peacefully on November 18, 2013. Allen H. Chin was a veteran who served honorably in WWII. He was also a loving husband, dutiful son and brother, and a doting father. His career was primarily as a business owner, tinkerer and a machinist. He was a friend to many people and he never knew the meaning of the word stranger. Born in Guangdong, China, his story is both a simple immigrant story and a great American legacy. He is survived by his daughter, Arlene Chin, and siblings, Wing Chung Chan, Wing Siu Chan, Ge En Ju, and three half-siblings in China. Services will be held Tuesday, November 26, at 12:00 pm at Tempe Mortuary in Tempe, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Honor Flight Arizona (an organization that enables Arizona WWII veterans to see and experience their memorials. honorflightaz.org
