Ann Graham Obituary

Graham, Ann
The incomparable Ann Graham passed to her Father in Heaven on April 27th. When she passed she was a 21 year old spirit trapped in a 97-year old body. Known to many as the Grande Dame of Phoenix "society," she contributed her time and resources to a wide variety of charitable causes. She was honored for her service as a Trends Fashionality in 1991. Ann loved life. And it loved her. She was an inspiration to everyone she met and was actually employed by Rose Law Group as an assistant at the age of 93 with business cards reading, "Office Muse." She was ahead of her time in so many ways and a trailblazer...a successful career woman way back before it was common for woman to be in the workplace (she graduated from Berkley and served as the Vice President of a cosmetics company). She thought outside of the box and studied the work of Ernest Holmes, and The Science of the Mind, decades before The Law of Attraction became known and popular. She was a supreme lover of beauty and created it everywhere she went...her homes, her personal style and flair. She also loved passionately. Ann was one of a kind, like no other person one has ever met. She had charisma, intelligence, kindness, style, a great sense of humor, more than a bit of spunk and her memory was sharp as a tack. She lit up any room with her beautiful smile, and was always so complimentary. She was a Libra with the best stories and always made you feel like you were the most important person around! She always told it like it is - whether you liked it or not! Ann was a great athlete and actually hit THREE holes in one (leading her to don the license plate "IIIAces"). Ann told us that she wanted to be remembered for being fun. Oh, honey, she will be remembered for that and a lot more. She was the modern day Auntie Mame and profoundly affected so many lives in every way. Ann's brother Mike Rich passed away in 1997 and is survived by his four children, Ann's nieces and nephews, Carolyn Curtis in Sac. Ca., Marty Rich in Orlando Fl., Kitty Rich in Somers Montana, and Mick Rich in Albuquerque NM. She is also survived by hundreds in Arizona who will never forget the great and wonderful Ann Graham. There will be a service to celebrate Ann's life on May 12, 2014. For information please contact Melissa Johnson at 480-240-5642.
