Anna Carmen Caviness Obituary
Caviness, Anna Carmen
94, of Mesa, AZ passed away on June 11, 2015. Born June 20, 1920 in Rogersville, Tennessee to parents, Fred Hickman and Rose Barrett Hickman. She lovingly helped raise her 6 siblings as they moved from Tennessee to Idaho where she met her husband of 50 years, Charles Louis Caviness. She was very religious and read her Bible every day. She loved listening to gospel music, especially to The Booth Brothers. The pride of life was her daughter Sharon Rose Frisk who preceded her in death at the age of 72. She would always tell people, "God didn't give me quantity, he gave me quality." She is missed by all of the lives that she touched so generously. She is survived by her only living sibling, Fred Hickman, her son-in-law, Jack Frisk (who always felt like a son and not just a son-in-law), her granddaughter Toni Frisk Jourdan (who will never be able to look at a moon again without thinking of Ma), her grandson-in-law, Charlie Jourdan (who loved singing to her) and her great grandson, Nicholas Jourdan (who will miss talking to his Nanny about anything and everything).
