Anna Eleanor Fleetwood Obituary
Fleetwood, Anna Eleanor
79, died suddenly of a heart attack in her Phoenix, AZ home on Sunday, November 15, 2015 after a nearly five year struggle to regain her health following an accident in which she suffered a broken neck. The younger of two sisters, she was born in Brooklyn, NY to Vincent and Eleanor Palumbo Mandala who were Ellis Island Italian immigrants. Anna had several other talents such as tending a beautiful rose garden, interior decorating, and cooking delicious Italian-style meals during holidays. She was one smart lady who enjoyed wise sayings, such as, "When things go wrong...don't go with them" and "Success stops when you do". She also loved traveling with her family. While still in high school, Anna met the love of her life, husband, Edward Richard Fleetwood. He is a Korean War air force veteran and retired accountant/financial planner.
