In Loving Memory of
Arnold J. Fossum
May 26, 1918 - March 20, 2004

Arnie, you've been gone 10 years, but we miss you still. You grew up in the north woods of Wisconsin, an avid hunter and fisherman. A Captain in the Army Transportation Corp, you served during WWII in England and France, marrying your sweetheart, Pat, in Paris in 1945. For 25 years you raised a family of 6 children in Minnesota, before giving up the snow shovel for swim trunks. Then for 30 more years you made Phoenix your home, climbing Piestewa Peak most weekends and jogging round Los Olivos Park. An enthusiastic hiker, you backpacked the Grand Canyon several times and tramped through much of the forests near Flagstaff, inspiring the hundreds of landscapes you painted. All of this, as well as a 40 year career as a traffic consultant. Arnie, you wept for your daughter, Gail, who passed and you have welcomed to Heaven a granddaughter and son-in-law. We hope they've remembered to tell you at the Gate, 'These doormen get better looking all the time!' We miss you -- Pat, Bill, Marge, John, Jer, Marilyn
