George, Arthur Frederick "Pete"
passed away peacefully on December 12, 2015. Pete was born to Mae & James Frederick George May 7, 1930 in Regina, Saskatchewan. He was one of four children and was preceded in death by sister, Winifred Muller. Connie Owen-Jones and Theodore "Ted" George are still Canadian residents. Pete moved his family from Canada to the United States in 1957 while advancing in his career in the Oil and Gas industry. A Career that would move the family five times in the ensuing years, with a retirement location in Scottsdale, AZ. Pete was a family man, and as such did his best to afford his wife and children a great lifestyle that included family vacations, the pursuit of fun on the water, boating, and teaching his children to chase their dreams and "keep the faith." After 20 years of corporate ladder, Pete launched his own company in the mid-seventies, MEP Industries. With a couple of partners, and utilizing their joint Mechanical Engineering based fuel injection patents, MEP became a highly successful company in the Oil and Gas industry. A second private company started in the mid-1980s, Clean Air Partners, is still in operation today. He was a successful Entrepreneur. Pete was also preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Agnes George. He leaves behind his loving wife of ten years, Louise George, daughter Barbara Aldrich of Chandler, AZ, daughter Nancy Grahlmann of Firestone, CO and Son, Robert George of Seattle, WA and their families consisting of 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Contributions can be made to , Scottsdale AZ in his name. A memorial service for "Pete" George will commence on January 16th at 10:00AM at Mountain View Presbyterian Church.
