79, of Chandler, AZ went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 27, 2013 at Chandler Regional Hospital. She was born to Daisy and Thomas Jones in Cleveland, OH on July 22, 1933. Barbara is youngest of five children; Olive, Thomas "Bud", Betty and Dolores. She was married to Harlan Crist on April 30, 1983. Barbara enjoyed family, especially all of her grandchildren, bible studies, traveling, hiking, football, watching TV, reading James Patterson, going to Gammage Auditorium, shopping at "her" boutiques and "Getting Ready". She also loved Scottsdale Bible Church and traveling to Israel with them. Her greatest achievements are her 5 children and the bond she created within her entire family. Barbara is survived by her children - Cheryl (Adam Kaminsky) of Chandler, AZ; Daniel (Marlene) of Sun Lakes, AZ; Charles (Kristin) of Southlake, TX; Michael (Sarah) of Santa Barbara, CA; Thomas (Mitzi) of Glendale, AZ; and step-children Roxanne of Tempe, AZ; Noelle (Michael See) of Mannheim, Germany; as well as her grandchildren- Kelly (Mark McConville), Matthew (Stephanie), Amanda (John Wilfert), Ryan, Cameron, Madeline, Tamara, Jake, Daniel, Jeff, Austin and step-grandchildren Ian (Kelsie), Nathaniel, Jonathan, Cody, Zoe and her step-great-grandchildren Chase, Roxy, Aiden, Landon, Ava. Barbara also leaves behind her sister Dolores Smart and her nephews & nieces Charles, Mel, Bob (Gerry), Pat (Paul Berline), Thomas (Brenda), Gary, Laura and Bob (Susan). She is predeceased by her spouse Harlan Crist, siblings Olive (Joe Burkett); Thomas "Bud" (Janet); Betty (Mel McCloud); Robert Smart, her nephew Thomas McCloud and her dog, Tootsie, her best buddy.
