94, of Saratoga passed away on July 17, 2013. The bright light that was "BJ" has finally been extinguished. Dulled by Alzheimer's for 10 years, her indomitable spirit finally left us on July 17. Born Barbara June Wilson on June 10, 1919 in Derwent, Ohio, she left friends everywhere she went. Friends from Dearborn, MI to Pompano, FL to Sun City, AZ remember the vivacious spirit that lighted her path wherever she went. BJ had a gift for music that cannot be explained except God-given. She could play any stringed or keyboard instrument even though she couldn't read music and never had lessons. She played piano and organ on a professional level by ear. Painting, needlepoint, pottery were conquered in their turn. Preceded in death by husband Bill Ihlenfeldt and ex-husband Edward Treadwell, she is survived by son Terry (and Diana) Treadwell, grandson Geoffrey (and Didem) Treadwell.
