Zanzucchi, Brian R.
47, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on March 11, 2014. Brian was born in Flagstaff, AZ on August 30, 1966 to Frank and Karen Zanzucchi, moved to Phoenix with his parents and brother Frankie in 1978 where he graduated 8th grade from St. Simon & Jude, attended St. Mary's High School and moved back to Flagstaff for his junior and senior year and graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1985. He was selected to the Arizona ALL Star Teams for both baseball and football his senior year. His enthusiasm for sports and love of life permeated all he did. He attended Scottsdale Community College and graduated with a BA & Masters Degree in Business Finance and Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. For several years he was employed by Pegasus Solutions, SRS-WorldHotels and Summit Hotels & Resorts, residing and working in both the US and Singapore. He traveled the world, living in the moment and touching the lives of many on his journey. He derived great pleasure from sharing the excitement and thrill of his annual Disneyland membership. Whereas he recently lived in California owned and operated Organic Market Garden Landscape & Design firm before returning to Phoenix. Throughout his recent health challenge with pancreatic cancer, he always kept his sense of humor, remained positive and was a fighter, enduring to the end. He left us far too soon, he will be deeply missed and remembered as always there to help others. We love you, we will miss you, we will never forget you but will forever celebrate your life and all the joy you brought to ours. Big "B" get back on your beloved Harley and ride free. He is survived by his father Frank Zanzucchi, mother Karen Zanzucchi, brother Frankie and niece Olivia Zanzucchi, Grandmother Sally Zanzucchi, Uncles - Hank, Matt, Tub (Stacie), Tim, John (Dee), Joe (Pam), Terry (Yvonne), Jimmy, Vinny, & Gina Zanzucchi-Smith. Aunts - Lynn Vredevoogd, Colleen Weldon (Mike), Linda Castillo (Bob), Uncle - JC Keeney along with Great Aunt Barbara & Uncle Ed Atwood and Great Aunt Jean & Uncle Bob Atwood and families from Reserve, NM. Two graveside services will be held, Saturday, March 22nd one at 11am at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flagstaff, AZ and a following internment at 3pm at the Sedona Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to your favorite church or charity.
