She also volunteered at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital, for the Phoenix Public library through their friends program and later at the Beatitudes where she resided. She enjoyed doing needlepoint and counted cross stitch. A long time music lover, she had season tickets to the Phoenix Opera and the Phoenix Symphony. Her love of travel by cruise ship took her all over the world including Europe, Japan and South America. Surviving family members are children Linda Tyler (John) San Diego, CA; Debbie Shulman (Jess Poynter) Phoenix, William Shulman (Laurie) Pasco, Washington; Janet Pettit (Kurt) of Phoenix.
