Goodmiller, Charles "Chuck" Henry III
80, died unexpectedly and peacefully in his home on September 9, 2015. Chuck was born to the late Charles Henry II and Dorothy I. (Ferguson) Goodmiller in Decatur, IL on May 28, 1935. He moved with his parents to Arizona in the early fifties where he attended high school at St. Mary's. He joined the Army and proudly served overseas. He worked as an accountant for over 40 years with the Arizona Republic. Chuck was blessed with a loving family. He married Rosemary Tomecko on October 9, 1965 in Phoenix, AZ, and they were married for 50 wonderful years. Chuck helped raise his three children with patience, discipline and humility. He taught them many lessons through his words and by example. He was always dedicated to the concerns of others and was completely devoted to his family and friends. Chuck was an accomplished pianist and was bi-lingual in Spanish. He was kind and soft-spoken, and had a rare gift for making everyone feel special and valued. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace. Chuck is survived by his wife, Rosemary; his sons Chuck, Joe, and Bob; his grandchildren Jace, Gina and Charlie, and the cherished ones he welcomed into his heart as his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother Donald and his parents. The Rosary will be recited on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:00 am followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S. Power Rd., Mesa 85206.
