Sharon and Ted (and Kristen and Dillon). We are truly sorry and saddened by Chuck's sudden death. I remember going to see Smokey and the Bandit with him when he lived here in Maryland and when the movie was over, he thought it was OK for him to drive like Burt Reynolds did - - we went in the blue 442 (fast, fast car). You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
With love

Kristen and Dillon,
I was fortunate enough to have worked with Chuck for about 3 years. His smile lit up the room, I miss him so much. I pray the memories you shared with Chuck as a husband and father will comfort you during this very sad time. Chuck was an amazing man, its a huge loss for all of us that worked with and cared for him. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.

I have worked with Chuck as long as he has been with the Lund group. Throughout the years he shared about his life all the way back to when Dillon was a baby. He was quite the character. I remember several years ago when he came racing up to the Security entrance of the Arizona Republic in Deer Valley in a Limo, yelling "Stop the Presses, Stop the Presses, we've got to fix a phone number!" (This was on the weekend) Then another time at Valentines, I was talking to him and mentioned that several ladies were getting flowers that day. The next thing I knew he was walking over to our area with bud vases with 3 roses in them for each of the ladies on my team. He would call in and usually called me a cute little pet name and would say one of two things, "Whatareya doin?" or "Can you do me a favor?" There was never a dull moment working with Chuck. I could tell many interesting stories about him. He was like a whirlwind. It will be very odd not working with him every week. I still can't believe it.

Kristen and Dillon—
I want to tell you how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I did not get the chance to meet you Kristin but had seen Dillon grow through the years when Chuck would bring him to Lund or to our events. As I saw you today at the service my heart went out to all of you. Chuck was truly a great man, friend, co worker and much more. It was an honor to know him. I wish I could say something to make things better for you but words just aren’t enough. My sympathy and warmest thoughts are with you.

Kristen and Dillion, Your Husband and Father was my friend and client. He had shared with many times how much he loved you both. If I had ten friends like him my life would be very rich.

My husband and I worked with Chuck and Dillon's mom, Rhonda, at Farnam and were very saddened to hear of his untimely passing.
Although we never met you, Kristen, we are so sorry for your loss. We know Chuck adored his son and always tried to be the best he could be. Our deepest condolences.

Chuck was a man of the highest Dodge Caliber. He was built Ford tough and Like a Rock he was strong as he could be. He was never out of his Honda Element. His Buick Regal demeanor only punctuated the pleasant Pontiac Vibe you felt around him. He was very Chevy Cavalier and sold cars with such Plymouth Fury. Customers said listening to him sell the car was like hearing a Hyundai Sonata.
I remember one time when Chuck and I were over in Hyundai Santa Fe at this Ford Fiesta back in Oldsmobile 88, we were on Buick Park Avenue, standing under this Dodge Neon sign looking up at the Saturn Sky and, like a Rolls-Royce Phantom, out of the Dodge Shadow, came a Mercury Cougar. Quick as a Ford Ranger Chuck drew his Chevy Beretta and shot it. I said Chuck you are a true Isuzu Hombre and he replied well you are a hell of a Suzuki Sidekick.
I will deeply miss him.

Kristen and Dillon,
I never had the privilege of meeting your husband and father but definitely know who he was. I have heard so many wonderful stories about him and you have to feel so honored to have had such a loving, warm and kind man in your lives. I lost my father two years ago and understand the pain you are feeling. Knowing the incredible man Chuck was, I can guarantee you that him and my father have become best friends already. God bless you and your entire family.
