Criner, Cody Gene
27, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away January 16, 2013. Cody was born in Flagstaff, Arizona and grew up in Phoenix/ Ahwatukee Arizona. He attended Mountain Pointe High School, where he played on the varsity ice hockey team. He was a student of the Arizona Art Institute and had a passion for art and tattooing. Cody stood tall and spoke the truth. He was soft spoken, but his magnetic personality demanded attention. Cody was a loyal friend to many and was always ready for the next adventure. Not knowing that his life would be cut short, Cody lived every day to its fullest. His presence was one of joy and respect. Cody left a lasting impression on all that knew him. He will be forever loved and missed. He leaves behind his Mother Lynn, Father Elmo, Sister Chelsea, Grand Mother Virginia (Ken), Grandfather Eugene, Daughter Emily, Girlfriend Christina, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, many friends and his future son. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Betty, Grandfather Gene and Aunt Stacy. A celebration of Cody's life will be held Saturday, January 26th 2013 at the LDS Chapel located at 4525 East Knox Road, Phoenix Arizona. The family will receive visitors from 11:30 am - 1:15 p.m. with memorial services beginning at 1:30pm.
