Glaser, Curtis Donald
81, of Scottsdale passed away on April 22, 2016. Curt was born to John Glaser and Martha Miller Glaser on August 29, 1934 in Leola, South Dakota. After serving 4-1/2 years in the Navy, he attended Northern State Teachers' College (now South Dakota State University) in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He was graduated in 1961 and moved to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area to continue his career in the financial industry, and in 1986 founded Glaser Financial Group, where he served as President and Chairman until his retirement in 2005. Curt is survived by his loving wife, Sara Sherman Glaser, of Scottsdale, his 3 daughters, Susan (Peter) Mitsch, Julie (Evan) Hvizdak, and Gail (David) Weems, and 9 grandchildren, Andrew, Thomas, Meredith, and Anne Mitsch, Victoria and Brooke Hvizdak, and Olivia, Lilyana, and Troy Weems, brother Leland Glaser, and sister Norma Dolida. He was predeceased by his mother and father, sister Helen Moulton, and brothers Francis and Vernon Glaser. A memorial service will be held in Minneapolis at a later date. He was a wonderful cook - his sandwiches and chili were legendary. We will hold him forever in our hearts.
