Daryl passed away peacefully at home on February 28, 2014 in Scottsdale, Arizona. He left this world too soon at the young age of 45 after a short and courageously fought battle with cancer. Daryl was a wonderful husband, father and friend. Daryl resided in California before moving to Arizona. He attended the University of San Francisco and went on to become a well respected technology expert and innovative web-pioneer featured in numerous conferences, major business publications, television and radio broadcasts and served as guest lecturer at several universities including Harvard and Stanford. In 1997, he founded Bidcom, one of the first application service providers. BidCom was recognized by Fortune magazine as one of its Top Ten Technology Companies in 1999. In 2002, Daryl founded and was Chairman and CEO of the China based consulting and technology firm SRS2. In 2010 Daryl joined Ecotality's BOD, an Arizona based company. Daryl also served as Partner and Head of Global Operations at Cybernaut Capital Management, a private equity firm with a focus on China. Daryl was full of dreams, and was always inspiring, motivating and positive in everything he did. He made a difference in the lives of others with his sense of humor, quick wit, and big heart. He is survived by his wife of 24 years and best friend Karina, daughter Francesca, and two sons, Diego and Nicholas and his father, Jesus. There was no one quite like Daryl.
