Anderson, Delsa Marie (Shanks)
86, was called home on 12/14/15 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born in Fort Riley, Kansas, and was a gifted writer and editor. She worked for Maricopa County for 10 years as an administrative assistant. She sang in the Arizona Mormon Choir for over 20 years. Delsa was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served a mission with her husband Darrell L. Anderson as missionaries at the Glendale Community College Institute of Religion. She joins her husband, Darrell, brothers Forrest and Raymond, sister Mary Ann, daughters Christie and Ginger and grandson Damon. Surviving family members include sons Larry and Brian, daughters Nancy, Cheryl and Mckell, 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Memorial service: Saturday, 12/19, 11 am, preceded by a visitation at 10 am at the LDS Paradise Valley Stake, 3601 E. Shea Blvd. Phoenix
