Dennis James Fraker, 50, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away suddenly on October 26, 2016. Dennis was a beloved husband, son, brother and uncle. He was born in Long Island, NY and moved to Scottsdale in 1977. He was a 1984 graduate of Chaparral High School and proudly served in United States Marine Corps from 1984-1988. He was a respected and valued colleague of Gordon Brothers. He is preceded in death by his mother, Eileen, and sister Terri. He is survived by his cherished wife Barbara, father Larry, sisters Muriel (Richard Arms), Kathleen (Josh Yurfest), Eileen ( John McCaffrey), Susan (Dennis Hernit), Christine (Dan Bonow) and his dear nieces and nephews, Richard and Mei-Mei Arms, Noah and Hanna Yurfest, Delaney and Colin McCaffrey, Conor and Sian Hernit, Ryan and Michael Bonow. Dennis also leaves behind dozens of cousins and close friends who were incredibly important to him. Dennis was involved with many veteran and community organizations. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dennis' name to Wounded Warrior Project 4150 S. Drinkwater Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 or Urban Outreach Homeless Services 215 E. University Dr. Tempe, AZ 85281. Dennis had a boundless love of life and enjoyed every minute he spent with those he loved. A visitation will be Tuesday, November 1st from 5:00-8:00pm at Mesingers Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale, AZ. A funeral service will be Wednesday, November 2nd at 11:00am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 10815 N. 84th St. Scottsdale, AZ 85260.
