After retirement, Elizabeth sang in the community choir, took classes in writing, oil and watercolor painting and was active in her church, Scottsdale Baptist, now New Life Community Church, where she ministered to many through her singing. She traveled extensively and enjoyed life. Nine times, she traveled to Brazil where she participated in the ministry of her son Darrel and his family. Elizabeth made many friends along the way because of her lively, engaging personality and her zest for living. She is remembered for her faith in God, her fun-loving spirit, her beautiful soprano voice and her passion for music. She was a faithful friend to her children and grandchildren. Her family and friends have all reaped the benefits of her long and exceptional life. She loved and was loved. She is survived by three children: Darrel Haworth and wife Jean, living in Ceará, Brazil; Karen Archer and husband Robin of El Paso, Texas; and, Daniel Haworth and wife Donna of Phoenix, Arizona as well as 8 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Elizabeth will be missed by all of her family, but we are filled with joy that she is now in the presence of Jesus our Lord. Her faithfulness in this life lives on through us all.
