Wiltbank, Emer Joy
Emer Joy Wiltbank, 72, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born February 11, 1943 in Eagar, the third child of Walter Lorenzo Wiltbank and Arilla Fay Ashcroft Wiltbank. Emer was a third generation White Mountain rancher. He was the owner of the Double Bar K Kids Ranch and Sprucedale Guest Ranch. Emer was a huge jokester, a hard worker, family man and horseman. Quilting became a hobby in later years and he made many denim quilts to the joy of his children, grandchildren, and friends. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many different capacities including serving a mission to Orlando Florida in 2005. Emer is survived by his wife, Esther Jean Meeks Wiltbank, sons William Ellis Wiltbank, Alpine; James Dean Wiltbank, Mesa; Emer "Lil'Emer" Nathan Wiltbank, Mesa; Whitney Clark Wiltbank, Eagar; daughters, Faye Marie Lipsey, Chandler; Stephanie Lyn Wood, Mesa; Tiffany Rose Willis, Snowflake, brothers, Walter LeRoy Wiltbank, Snowflake; Ellis Whitney Wiltbank, Nutrioso and 19 grandchildren. He was also a father-figure and mentor to hundreds. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Margine Wiltbank Bunnell, granddaughter, Cherish Wood and grandson, Jacob K. Stephens. In lieu of flowers, one of Emer's last requests was for donations to be made to Emma Jean Wiltbank's GoFundMe account for her corrective eye surgery. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Amity Chapel, with visitation one hour prior.
