Reiher, Floyd Dale
was born February 3, 1930 in rural Applington, Iowa to Harm Reiher and Clara Ackerman Reiher. Floyd passed away on October 19, 2015 at his home in Apache Junction, Arizona. He graduated from Allison High School in 1949 and then joined the Marine's. Floyd was married to Lois Moen on October 6, 1968. Floyd had many business ventures, some of which were farming, driving truck, auctioneering, manufacturing trailers and sales. Floyd and Lois travelled extensively across the United States until 2005 when they settled in their home in Gold Canyon, AZ. Floyd loved music, playing his accordion, travelling, dancing, and playing poker. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the American Legion and the VFW. No one was a stranger to Floyd. He will be missed by all those who knew him. Floyd is survived by his brother Donald Reiher and wife Marjorie of Charles City, Iowa and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Lois Reiher, his parents of Allison, Iowa, and his brother Wayne Reiher of Hugoton, Kansas. Military services will be held at the V.A. National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phx, AZ and are pending. Memorials may be given to Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 612 S. Ellsworth Road, Mesa, AZ 85208
