George Dominador "Keoki" Palmero Obituary
Palmero, George "Keoki" Dominador
76, of Goodyear passed away the morning of Thursday, May 26, 2016. Born in Hawaii, George left his family and the islands as a teenager and joined the US Air Force serving his country, both here and abroad for 20 yrs before retiring while at Luke AFB. He went on to work another 20 yrs. for Bechtel Corp., ending his career with them in Augusta, GA. From Augusta, George and his wife returned to AZ and settled in Goodyear. But his call to service continued when he was enlisted to help in the Katrina recovery efforts. He is predeceased by his son Greg, sister Annabelle, and brother Michael. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nobuko and children Georgian, Gaylyn and George; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and twin sisters Veronica and Bernadette and many nieces and nephews. George loved and enjoyed life through sports and music and always shared, unselfishly, all that he had learned along the way. In the last several years he presided over many volleyball tournaments as a USA Volleyball Official, He was a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus. George proudly served God and Country and will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Pacific. A committal service will be held at Punchbowl, Honolulu, Hawaii, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 10:30am.
