He was the youngest of 6 children born to Aloysius and Mary Catherine (Fremoth) Beck. He is preceded in death by his wife Goldie Elizabeth (Almasi); his daughter Linda Jo Beck; his parents Al and Mary; and his siblings and their spouses: brothers Robert Beck (Betty) and Ralph Beck and sisters Helen Kill (Norbert); Martha Howe (Raymond); and Ruth Vonderembse (Paul). George served in the Army Air Corp, as a Lieutenant, and piloted the B-28 during World War ll.
