72, of Glendale, AZ passed away on November 8th, 2015. formerly of Duxbury, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 8th in Arizona after a courageous 11 year battle with multiple myeloma. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Jordan) MacWalter for 49 years. Born in Quincy on December 4, 1942, he was the beloved son of the late Andrew and Dorothy (Hayden) MacWalter.
In his youth, he was a member of Boy Scout Troop 38 and an Eagle Scout. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam conflict. He was an avid hockey fan, coaching his children in youth hockey, following the Boston Bruins and then the Phoenix Coyotes. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and skeet shooting, especially with his son and grandchildren and looked forward to his annual Alaska fishing trips. Glenn was the loving husband of Carol (Jordan) MacWalter, father of Robin, her husband Tim Martin, Debbie, her husband Fred Bright, Sean, his wife Michelle MacWalter, and Traci MacWalter. Glenn was the dear brother of James MacWalter and his wife Joyce. Glenn is survived by his 10 grandchildren: Samantha, Chris, Briana, Drew, Mackenzie, Connor, Jeremy, Matthew, Nicholas, and Colin, and by several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life for Glenn will be held: Saturday, November 21st, at Ben Avery Shooting Facility activities center at the Main Range, 4044 W Black Canyon Blvd., Phoenix from 2pm until 5pm. In lieu of flowers, Glenn has requested that donations be made to The Junior Skeet Shooting Fund: Ben Avery Clay Crushers, 17 E Tanya Rd., Desert Hills, AZ 85086
