Gordon Kraig, 67, passed away June 24, 2015 of natural causes at his home in Phoenix, Arizona. Gordon was born August 23, 1947, in Phoenix Arizona, and is preceded in death by his parents Bob and Jessie Kraig of Phoenix, survived by his brother David Kraig, sister in law Doris Kraig, and niece's Amanda and Lora. Gordon attended Crockett Elementary and Phoenix Union High School, followed by welding school. Gordon recently retired from Med Tronic's Medical Instruments, where he took great pride in maintaining certification in the operation of various test equipment, along with being part of the Med Tronic's family. Gordon held various jobs throughout his life including, Top Seal, Fruehauf Truck repair, Massies, as a tank repair welder along with a special interest in the agricultural field. Gordon's interest's and hobbies included motorcycles, rollerblading with friends in Scottsdale, music, movies, hiking and designing and fabricating stained and etched glass, inclusive of one piece that was displayed in a Scottsdale restaurant. My brothers unexpected passing has left emptiness in my heart as I reflect upon the earlier years of growing up with my big brother, guided by two wonderful parents, riding bikes, camping, fishing, hiking to Papago Park and birthdays. If I only had one more day, I would have said and done more to fill the emptiness of my brother's life, expressed my love and compassion to help guide Gordon thru the issues that seemingly controlled his life. A heartfelt thank you for the many friends that maintained close friendships with Gordon as he made his way down life's path. Gordon's spirit lives on in our hearts and throughout the heavens and universe, may you find Heavenly peace, as you are free of these earthly bonds. A private memorial to celebrate Gordon's life was recently held, fulfilling my brother's wishes. Gordon will remain for eternity, a part of Phoenix, were Gordon lived, died and called home. Special thank's to Dave and his family at Messenger mortuary, Allen, Deb, Karen and all his friends that allowed Gordon to be a part of their life journey.
