Harry Subrize, 84, of Phoenix, AZ; born at Kent St. Newark, NJ, died October 18, 2016 in the peace and care of Hospice of the Valley at his home. He is survived by his wife, Jean Marie Afify; mother-in-law Helen L. Kircher of upstate NY; brother-in-law Richard W. Kircher of MT; one brother Robert Subrize of FL; two sons Harry H. Jr. of CO and Rodney Subrize, a daughter Robin Subrize of FL; five step-sons Harold, Clint, and Thomas Venable of CA; Omar and Faisal Afify of upstate NY; two step-daughters Janet Brickey of AZ and Sarrah Afify-Hall of upstate NY; 23 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren; and best friend James R. Ludden Jr. Harry served honorably as a Marine in the Korean War, owned S & S Machine Shop in Phoenix, AZ in the 70s. Retired as Air Research Engineer at Allied Signal/Garrett/Honeywell, and served 18 years on the Maricopa County Sheriff's Motorcycle Posse. Harry was an existing member of Elks #0499 and American Legion Post #3 in Flagstaff. Harry also was a faithful member of EL Zaribah Shriners as Temple Guard Captain, Grand Lodge No.2, Royal and York Rites, and the Cerrojo No.16 Order of Quetzalcoatl. Donations to
