Milby, Holliday
of Prescott passed away on January 12, 2016. Dr. Milby was a highly respected clinical psychologist and helped families for more than 40 years in her private practice. She received her BS from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois, her MS from Kent State in Kent, Ohio, and her doctorate from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. She was the Dean of Students at MacMurray as well as a psychology professor. Holliday loved music and was a member of the First Methodist Church Choir and Madrigal Singers in Phoenix. Dr. Holliday Brummett Milby Hardin passed on January 12, 2016 from complications related to pulmonary fibrosis. She is survived by her husband, George Edward Hardin in Prescott, Arizona, her daughter, Blythe Collett Milby in Chicago, her sister, Mellody Brummett Gartley in Pagosa Springs, Colorado and family in Tempe, Phoenix, in Kailua, Hawaii, Carmel, Indiana, Sonoma, California, and Great Bend, Kansas. Holliday had a deep love for animals and is sorely missed by her two dogs, Bix and Bonnie Blaze. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 31 at 1:30 P.M. at the First Methodist Church, 5510 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85210.
